There are two public parks located
within the Town of Chandler. One is
located along North 4th Street
near Town Hall, the other is located off East Washington Ave. on
Community
Center Drive.
At the park located south of East
Washington Avenue there is
also a community center that was recently constructed that has a large
banquet
room, meeting room, and a full kitchen services. This
facility is rented out for a variety of
functions including weddings, birthdays, reunions, square dancing, and
many
more. Persons desiring to rent this
facility need to make reservations well in advance – it gets a lot of use.

Also at this same park are five
lighted baseball diamonds, a
shelter house, a playground area, a small baseball diamond for
tee-ball,
concession stand and other facilities.
At the park near Town Hall, you
will find a basketball court, skateboard park, playground and the real
attraction of the city
lake. Many find this park a great place
for a picnic, fishing, and a place to let those children play.
