The Chandler Police Department recently received a $1,500 grant from Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana to help pay for expenses for its K-9 unit. The department wishes to thank Toyota and the community for its continued support for the K-9 program in Chandler. The department got its first K-9 unit (Sgt. Matt Tevault and partner Fado) after extensive fundraising last year. Donations are accepted to help pay for the unit’s expenses, which includes Fado’s food, vet bills, and other routine care.
