The Chandler Youth Basketball Association will have sign-ups on Sept. 27 and Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days, and on Oct. 18, from 8 a.m. to noon, at the Chandler Elementary gym. There will be no late sign-ups, as teams will be formed following the last sign-up date. The league is for ages 4-17.

Biddy Ball is the only co-ed league, and is for kids ages 4-6. Other leagues include: Little Girls (ages 7-11), Big Girls (ages 12-17), Little Boys (ages 7-10), Big Boys (ages 11-14), and Super Boys (ages 15-17).

Hour-long practices are held one night a week, with games on Saturdays. Goal height and ball size varies with the division. Practices will begin in October, with games starting in November and ending in February or March, depending on weather. All practices, games, and awards take place at the Chandler Elementary School gym.

Sign-up fees are $55; $100 for two children in same household; $140 for three children in same household; and $170 for four children in same household. Parents must be present at sign-ups.

This year, the Chandler Youth Basketball Association has become a Junior Indiana Pacers Program. As part of this new affiliation, all players will receive a FREE ticket the Pacers vs. Celtics game in March.
