    Water Boil Advisory

    Update (12/22/14 – 7:15 a.m.): Chandler Utilities has canceled the Water Boil Advisory that affected water customers south of Hwy. 662 in Newburgh following damages to a water main last Thursday. Bacteriological samples were collected in the area and tested. Test results were satisfactory and it is no longer necessary to boil the water.

    Previously (12/19/14 – 9:15 a.m.): A Water Boil Advisory remains in effect for the area south of Hwy. 662 in Newburgh. The advisory only affects Chandler Utilities water customers in the specified area. We anticipate the Water Boil Advisory will remain in effect through the weekend, and possibly Monday, depending on when water quality testing results are received. Please check back on this website for updates to the situation as they become available.

    Previously (12/18/14 – 4:01 p.m.): Water has been restored to the area south of Hwy. 662 in Newburgh. Chandler Utilities has issued a Boil Water Advisory for the affected area only, which includes Chandler water customers south of Hwy. 662. This Boil Water Advisory will remain in effect until further notice.

    Previously (12/18/14 – 12:33 p.m.): Approximately 243 Chandler Utilities water customers between Hwy. 662 and the Ohio River in Newburgh are currently without water after a water main was damaged by a local contractor cleaning a ditch line in the area. We are currently working to repair the damage and get the water restored to customers in this area as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this unforeseen issue.
