The State of Indiana has recently announced the requirement of all municipalities in the State to perform an inventory of water service lines within its system.  The State is asking each utility to determine and submit the known material of every single service line which supplies water to every house and building.  Both lines, the utility side which runs from the main to the meter as well as the customer’s side which runs from the meter to the structure, must be recorded.  Most service lines will be copper, poly, or PVC, but older homes could have another type of material or line.  We would appreciate your help in obtaining this information.  If you happen to know what type of service line you in fact have, please email this information to maintenance@townofchandler.org
