Contractors for DNR will be revisiting Monroe Av. between First and State St. this Tuesday and Wednesday. The road will be closed for repairs.

During the exploratory drilling in April, DNR was forced to reevaluate the original plan to grout fill the mine area due to unforeseen challenges. Recently, DNR has returned to inspect the work and felt it necessary to install a more permanent plug in the hole.
