The Republican Chandler Town Convention was held Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 5 p.m. to select the Republican candidate for Town Council, District 3. Republican nominees who will be on the ballot in November are:

• Town Council, At Large: Sean Johnson
• Town Council, District 2: Kim Burnett
• Town Council, District 3: Tonya Wester
• Town Council, District 4: Ron Whitledge

The Democratic Chandler Town Convention began Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 6 a.m.; it recessed that evening and then reconvened Wednesday, Aug. 19 at 11 a.m. The nominees who will represent the Democratic Party on the ballot in November are:

• Clerk Treasurer: Brian Pace
• Town Council, At Large: Brian Lucas
• Town Council, District 1: Cheryl Amos
• Town Council, District 2: Andrea Johnson
• Town Council, District 3: Kenneth Irvin
• Town Council, District 4: Bobbie Jo Hinkle

Both conventions were held at the Chandler Community Center in Chandler. The Municipal Election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 3 at your normal polling locations throughout town.
