Boil Water Advisories have been canceled

10/25/15: Two separate Boil Water Advisories that were issued by Chandler Utilities on Thursday, Oct. 22, have both been canceled. Bacteriological samples have been collected from representative sites of the affected areas and tested. The test results were satisfactory and it is no longer necessary to boil the water.

PREVIOUSLY:  Boil Water Advisories issued on Thursday are still in effect. We anticipate cancelling both advisories Sunday evening or Monday morning, pending acceptable water sample testing in both areas. This information will be posted here, on this website, as soon as the Boil Water Advisories are lifted.

Chandler Utilities has issued a Boil Water Advisory for the following area south of Chandler: Russell Road from Plank Road to Gardner Road, including those subdivisions that have roads that adjoin Russell Road to the east and west. There are an estimated 165 Chandler Water customers affected by this Boil Water Advisory.

Chandler Utilities also has issued a separate Boil Water Advisory for the following area in Chandler: along East Williams Street from State Street to South Fourth Street, including Mary Street and Hwy. 62 between State and Fourth. There are an estimated 51 customers affected by this Boil Water Advisory.

This precautionary measure is recommended due to two separate, unrelated water main breaks. It is recommended that all cooking and drinking water in the affected areas be brought to a complete boil for 5 minutes before use. Please continue to boil all cooking and drinking water until we notify you that it is no longer necessary. Updates will be posted on this website as they become available.
