Chandler’s water system is experiencing air in lines through out the area.  You may experience milky or cloudy water.  It is not harmful and will settle out over time.  Customers can run cold water through bathtubs or a faucet on full blast for up to 20 minutes.  The new 24” transmission main has been recently put in service.  Since then we have discovered air pockets trapped within areas along new line.  Chandler utility crews are currently working to bleed the air out of the system.  Once again, the water is not harmful and/or does not need to be boiled.  Please be patient with us as we resolve this issue.
