Today, our Street Department crew will be out picking up any remaining raked leaf piles left at the edge of the road. This will include all areas of the town.

Originally, we had planned to be finished with leaf pick-up last week, but due to weather issues, we decided to extend the program through this week. If you still have leaves that need to be picked up, but were unable to rake them to the edge of the road up until this time, we will not be able to pick them up with the leaf vacuum; instead, if you rake and bag your leaves, and then contact our Maintenance Facility at 812-925-6213 or by Email, we will pick up the bags at our earliest convenience.

Please remember that leaves should be kept away from ditches and culverts to prevent blockages. Obstructed ditches are in violation of Storm Water ordinances and could result in fines. If you notice a blockage caused by leaves, or any other obstruction, please contact our Storm Water Manager at 812-925-7145 or by Email to report the issue.
